Scoop the first EV "Specter" commercial model in Rolls-Royce history! Is the headlight a two-stage type after all?

<06:30

The camera of the scoop site "Spyder7" captured the commercial prototype of the brand's first full electric model "Specter" that Rolls-Royce is currently developing.

The initial prototype of Specter was officially released as a teaser image in September 2020, but this is the first time that a commercial prototype has been captured. Although it is full camouflage, you can see the details hidden in the teaser image.

From the image, you can see the silhouette reminiscent of "Wraith" such as the long nose and the sloping roofline. In addition, the front end is equipped with a rolls Royce grill and a wide lower air intake that houses the ADAS sensor, as well as a front splitter and what seems to be a split headlight that is divided into upper and lower parts, which is a hot topic in BMW.

On the side, you can see that a coach door with a hinge at the rear is adopted, and side sills and commercial wheels are installed. The rear end is equipped with a rear bumper extension equipped with a diffuser of the same color as the front splitter and side sill. The vertical LED taillights have a bulge that seems to be camouflage around them, so the actual design is likely to be different.

Specter is not the "CLAR" platform that supports the latest BMW EV models such as the BMW "i4" and "iX", but the "Architecture" used in Rolls-Royce's "Cullinan", "Ghost" and "Phantom".

The details of the EV specs are unknown, but it is expected to be equipped with dual motors, a maximum output of over 600ps, a maximum torque of 765Nm, and all-wheel drive, and is expected to be released at the end of 2023.
