Onkyo Home Entertainment has started handling the iPhone game controller "Backbone One" made by Backbone Labs. Pre-order sales have started on April 20th on a dedicated site with a limited number of units. Pre-orders will be shipped to applicants in late April.
A game controller that sandwiches the iPhone, connects with the Lightning terminal, launches the dedicated application, and uses it. Realizes an environment where you can play games immediately wherever you are, without the need for charging. Equipped with a Lighting terminal for charging the iPhone itself, you can play games while charging.
It also has a headphone jack, which makes it possible to connect headsets.
The button is equipped with a clickable joystick and an analog trigger button with a Hall effect sensor base.
Compatible models are iPhone 12 mini / 12/12 Pro / 12 Pro Max, iPhone 11/11 Pro / 11 Pro Max, iPhone SE (1st generation) / SE (2nd generation), iPhone XS / XS Max / XR, iPhone X, iPhone 8/8 Plus, iPhone 7/7 Plus, iPhone 6s / 6s Plus.
In addition, the main body size is 176.2 to 257.6 (width) x 93.9 (height) x 32.6 (depth) mm. Weight is 138g.
